PSN Spotlight: Hillgrove Hawks Football

Last season, the Hillgrove Hawks football team bounced back from a 5-6 overall 2016 season with an 8-4 overall record, 4-1 in their region and a region championship. However, in the second round of the Georgia High School Association state playoffs, the Hawks would lose a tough one to Tift County, as the Blue Devils picked up the 31-24 win. That loss combined with the positive takeaways from last season has fueled the Hawks this summer to work diligently and improved in areas that they believe can help them repeat as region champion and make a deeper run for a state championship. We caught up with the Hawks and spoke with head coach Phillip Ironside about how the Hawks are preparing to soar higher in 2018. Watch below now!
