Norcross' Morgan Robinson Nwagwu Announces Auburn Commit

Earlier this week, Norcross's Morgan Robinson Nwagwu announced her commitment to play with the Auburn Tigers. The 5-foot-7 Nwagwu is a rising senior and helped lead the Blue Devils to the Georgia High School Association Class 7A quarte finals where they lost to then four time defending state champs, McEachern (Norcross fell to McEachern in the GHSA state title game in 2017). Nwagwu completed her junior season averaging 15.3 points a game as well as 7.1 rebounds, 4.6 assist, and 4.1 steals. She also earned Georgia Athletic Coaches Association all-state honors and was named to the Gwinnett County all-county first team. Nwagwu made her announcement via twitter earlier this week in which she thanked her family, family, and coaches that helped "push" her to get her where she is in her career. In the tweet, Nwagwu states that after discussing with her parents, she was committing to play with the Auburn Tigers.
