2019 Recruit, Running Back, Tyler Goodson Gives Commitment To Iowa!
In a video released on Tuesday, North Gwinnett running back, Tyler Goodson, announced that he would be committing to the Iowa Hawkeyes. Goodson was being pursued by the likes of Michigan State, Wake Forest, Nebraska, Washington State and several other top programs but it was the Hawkeyes that landed the commitment from the 5-foot-10, 192 pound North Gwinnett running back. Goodson is ranked the 60th overall recruit in the state of Georgia and is ranked 40th among running backs nationally. According to MaxPreps, as a junior, Goodson rushed for 1,315 yards with 20 touchdowns on 178 carries, averaging 109 yards per game. Goodson also racked up yards receiving and was named first team all-Region 6-AAAAAAA and helped lead the Bulldogs to the 2017 Georgia High School Association 7A State Championship.
