On Monday, the North Carolina State football program learned they landed their second four star recruit within a week's time as North Stanly High School defensive tackle, C.J. Clark announced his commitment to the Wolfpack. Clark's choice to join Dave Doreen and his Wolfpack program makes him the second highest rated prospect in N.C. State's current class. Programs such as North Carolina and Georgia were also hoping to land the 6-foot-3, 303 pound tackle, but Clark told 247 Sports that his decision to choose State was mainly due to some of the personal relationships he has with a few of the coaches within the Wolfpack program. "The relationship with coaches, teammates, and recruits, we all just bond and that separated N.C. State from everyone else," said Clark. He added that, State offering first after seeing his talent first "helped a lot." Clark went on to say that he feels good about being finished with his recruiting process and that he is "100 percent committed" and Raleigh is where he wants to be.
