Harvard Makes List of Seven For Chosen 25 Scottie Lewis

Being ranked No. 14 in the Chosen 25 Class of 2019, it was no surprise that Kentuckey, Duke, Stanford, Villanova, St. Johns, and Florida made Ranney School's Scottie Lewis' narrowed down list of programs the 6-foot-5, 177 pound wing man is considering. But rounding out the list was Harvard, which you do not typically find on list when talking about second team All-USA players, but in the case of Lewis, Harvard is a great fit for him and allow his "voice to mean that much more," Lewis told Jim Halley of USA Today High School Sports. "If you know me well enough, you know I'm a very liberal person, very deep into politics because of the culture I grew up in and because of my grandmother and how smart she is," Lewis added. Lewis also made it clear that staying close to home was not a must for him and that he could see "himself" playing virtually anywhere. However, he did note that Kentucky stood out to him because the honesty of head coach John Calipari and the tradition of athletic guards produced by the Wildcats.
