Junior Guard Recruit Josh Nickelberry Picks Louisville
On Thursday, one of the country's top prospects of 2019, Josh Nickelberry, decided that being a Cardinal was the right choice as he committed to newly hired Chris Mack and the Louisville Men's basketball program. Nickelberry's decision came Thursday night and according to his father, the 6-foot-3, 175 pound guard from Northwood Temple Academy in North Carolina, said to his dad, "Hey, I want to be a Cardinal." Nickelberry went on to tell ESPN that he "believes in what Coach Mack is preaching about the program he will be building," adding "I want to be the first guy to get things going in the right direction." Ranked No. 42 in the ESPN 60 for the Class of 2019, Nickelberry was being sought after by top programs including Auburn, and Virginia Tech.
