Sooners Land Allen's EJ Ndoma-Ogar

On Wednesday, one of the country's most sought after offensive lineman, EJ Ndoma-Ogar out of Dallas' Allen High School, announced that he was taking his talents to Norman, Oklahoma, committing to the Sooners. The 6-foot-3, 325 Ndoma-Ogar had close to 38 offers from top programs from around the country, but the Sooners would be the lucky ones as the four star recruit tweeted "Boomer, Sooner #Committed" on Wednesday morning. As to what led Ndoma-Ogar to choose the Sooners over the likes of Washington, Penn St. and Oregon, he says that the school's focus on his progress as well as their "consistent and genuine" interest in him during his high school career. Joining Ndoma-Ogar in Norman will be his current Allen teammate, Theo Wease who is considered one of the country's top wide receivers as well as a host of other top 2018 recruits giving the Sooners one of the top recruiting classes.
