Panthers Sweep Season Series With Seminoles As Langston Hughes Defeats Creekside 76-58

On Saturday, the Langston Hughes Panthers hosted the Creekside Seminoles in the second of their two game season series.. After falling to the Panthers the first go around 78-56, the Seminoles came out strong in an effort to see different results in this match up.
Creekside would get out to an early 8-2 lead, but the Panthers would outscore Creekside 14-6 to take a 16-14 lead late in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Seminoles would trail by as many as eight points, but would go on a 8-0 run to tie the game up at 32-32.
As the contest continued, the Seminoles would regain the lead and go up by as many as six when they took a 41-35 lead in the third quarter, but the Panthers would go on another run of their own, this time 15-0 to take a 50-41 lead. They would never relinquish that lead and go on to win by a final score of 76-58. Watch highlights from the game below now!
