Falcons Soar Over Lions As Pebblebrook Defeats Westlake 69-59

In the first of two rivalry matches, the Pebblebrook Falcons traveled to face region rival the Westlake Lions in hopes of picking up a win to remain undefeated and in the top spot in the region. Meanwhile, a win for the Lions would keep them at only one loss in the region. At the end of the first quarter, it would be the Falcons holding a 21-13 lead, but in the second quarter, the Lions keep pace with Pebblebrook as they trailed 36-28 going into the locker room at the half. In the third quarter, Westlake would outscore Pebblebrook, but only by one point so the Lions would trail 47-40 going into the final period of play, In the fourth, the Falcons would once again outscore the Lions, 23-19 and go on to win by a final score of 69-59.
