Lee County’s (North Carolina) Jahmir Smith taking 4.43 GPA and 3-Star Talents to Notre Dame

On Sunday, 3-star recruit, Jahmir Smith out of Lee County (North Carolina), announced that he was committing his football talents to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. As a junior, Smith rushed for over 2,100 yards and 41 touchdowns, which was best in the state of North Carolina that season. Smith made his announcement via Twitter when he tweeted, “I gave my blood…sweat…tears…I’m Committed! #IrishBouND18 #WeAreND”. Smith had received 30 plus offers from around the country, including several from Ivy League schools, which is no surprise as the 6-foot, 200 pound running back reportedly holds a 4.43 grade point average and scored a 25 on his ACT.
