Top Ohio Linebacker Commits To Kentucky Via Twitter, Deletes Tweet
On Tuesday, the University of Kentucky football team’s 4th of July fireworks were when Xavier Peters, who is considered to be the top linebacker out of Ohio, announced that he would commit to play football for the Wildcats but then later deleted the tweet. Peters made his announcement via Twitter early on Tuesday but then later deleted the tweet and then on Wednesday afternoon tweeted, “I still have to sit down and think about some things.” At 6-feet 4 inches and 225lbs, Peters, the Lakota West High School linebacker, is considered a four-star recruit by many of the high profile recruiting websites. With the deletion of Peters’ tweet, speculations began as many wonder does this mean the linebacker will no longer take his talents to Lexington. Other school that Peters was considering and that he had received offers from were Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Cincinnati, Oregon, Penn St. and top programs.
