Chamblee Host St. Pius X on Alumni Night, Falls Short 354-271

On Thursday night, the Chamblee Bulldogs, aka the Bullsharks, hosted the St. Pius X Golden Lions in a swimming and diving meet. The night began with the Golden Lions sweeping the Boys 200 Yard Medley Relay, however the Lady Bullsharks would take the top spot in the Girls 200 Yard Medley with the Lady Golden Lions taking the second and third place spots.

St. Pius would continue to add to their point lead as Jeffrey Durmer would take first in the Boys 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:45.82, followed by Chamblee's Noah Oh (1:49.65) and Louis Cardot (1:54:56). On the girls side, Abby Cohen (2:03.07) would take the top spot for the Golden Lions but Chamblee's Julia von Biberstein (2:06.71) and Teresa Maloney (2:13.77) would take the second and third place spots.

In the Boys 200 Yard IM, Chamblee would get the first and second place spots thanks to Caleb Perry (2:05.36) and Brian Dumais-Fadjariza (2:08.44). Jade Foelske would also take the top spot for Chamblee in the Girls 200 Yard IM with St. Pius taking the second, third, and fourth place spots. In the Boys 50 Yard Freestyle, St. Pius would once again take the top two spots behind Nate Grum (22.84) and Olin Broadway (23.28). Despite multiple second and third place finishes by Chamblee, they were not able to tally up enough points as they would lose 354-271.
