As the Whitefield Academy Wolfpack football team heads into their third season under head coach, Robert Walsh, growth continues for the program as Walsh notes the consistent rise in the number of players each season. And with summer workouts officially underway, the Wolfpack will once again rely on their three pillars their foundation has been being built on.
"Discipline, love and one percent. I tell people all the time, if we are disciplined, loving and getting better at something every single day, I think everything will take care of itself," Walsh said of his message to his players as they look to become the first team in program history to reach the quarterfinals of the Georgia High School Association state championship tournament.
"They've set that goal, which is a great goal, but we have to take care of one week at a time," Walsh said in our PSN Summer Spotlight as he spoke with Daminon Lewis.
