Lassiter Improves To 11-1 After Wins Over South Cobb And Kennesaw Mountain

On Wednesday, the Lassiter Trojans were on the road to face the South Cobb Eagles and the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs in a tri match. After both teams defeated South Cobb, they would square off in the night cap match in which the Mustangs would come out the gate aggressive and take set one 25-17. The Trojans would settle in heading into set two and after trailing 5-4, Lassiter would outscore the Mustangs 21-9 down the stretch to take set two and force a third and decisive set. In the third and final set, the Trojans would take an early lead and never relinquish it, taking the set 15-10 and the match 2-1. The wins on the day improved Lassiter's record to 11-1.
