In a non region matchup on Thursday, the Cambridge Bears traveled to take on the Walton Raiders in boys lacrosse action as the Bears looked to secure their fourth straight win and continue building momentum ahead of the Georgia High School Association state championship tournament.
Meanwhile, with two region games remaining on their schedule, Walton looked to end a four game skid and regain momentum for themselves to help secure their chance to reach the postseason. A back and forth affair with several ties and lead changes, the Bears would get a five goal performance from captain Michael Guy as they picked up the 12-10 win.
