Elite Scholars Academy Win Streak At 6 After 2-0 Win Over Tri-Cities

On Thursday, the Elite Scholars Academy Lady Knights volleyball team traveled to East Point, Georgia to take on the Tri-Cities Bulldogs. In the opening set, the Knights would take control early on as they would jump out to a 4-0 lead.

After Tobie Kassim would give ESA an 11 point lead when the Knights would go up 14-3, they would go on and cruise to a 25-9 win in the set. As set two got underway, the Bulldogs would give ESA much more fight as it would be Tri-Cities getting the first point of the set to take a 1-0 lead.

The two teams would battle throughout the early parts of set two as it would remain close through a 4-4 tie. However, Ranyda Griggs would soon give the Knights a one point edge and would begin to slowly pull away from the Bulldogs in route to a 25-14 win of set two allowing ESA to win the match up 2-0 and improve their current win streak to six matches.
