Arabia Mountain, Dunwoody Open Up Spike Fest With 2-0 Starts

On Friday, the 6th Annual Dekalb County Spike Fest Volleyball tournament got underway as 20 teams from Dekalb County participate in the annual tournament. With the return of the tournament featured pool play this year, guaranteeing each team at least four games of play.

Dekalb County Athletics also stated that the addition of pool play would allow teams to get in more live action before area match ups begin. On day one of the tournament, which was being held at two locations, we stopped by Redan High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia to take in some of the action which included opening day wins by Arabia Mountain as they defeated host, Redan and McNair, as well as last year's third place finisher, Dunwoody, who defeated Miller Grove and Tucker.
