Westlake's Dillon Hunter, Sandy Creek's Jabari Smith Jr. Make USA Basketball Men's U16 N


On Monday, the final roster for the USA Basketball Men's U16 National team was revealed and two of Georgia's own made the cut. Westlake's Dillon Hunter, younger brother of Clemson signee, Chase Hunter, made the team as one of the four rising juniors on the roster and Sandy Creek's Jabari Smith Jr. also made the team as one of the eight rising sophomores. Hunter, the 6-foot-3, 169 pound guard, helped lead Westlake to the Georgia High School Association Class 7A Region championship and earned an All-Region honorable mention this past season. He was also selected to the GHSA Top 100. Smith Jr., a 6-foot-8, 190 pound forward was named to the All-Fayette County second team and helped the Patriots finish with a 27-4 record and a third place finish in the GHSA 4A State playoffs for the 2018-2019 season.
