It's Chapel Hill For Cole Anthony, Commits To North Carolina Tar Heels
On Tuesday morning, Oak Hill Academy's Cole Anthony announced his commitment to the North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team. Anthony, who averaged 18.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 10.1 assist this past season. "We really pushed this decision back a lot and I always winded up going back to North Carolina," Anthony said during his announcement. The USA Today Chosen 25 No. 1 ranked player added that he has a lot of love for Tar Heels head coach Roy Williams and assistant coach and former Tar Heel player, Hubert Davis, "It really felt like family to me," Anthony added. The 6-foot-3 guard is considered a top three prospect in the country and was recently named to the All-USA Today Boys Basketball First Team. Anthony selected the Tar Heels over Notre Dame, Georgetown and Oregon.
