PSN Spotlight: McIntosh Lady Chiefs Volleyball

Coming off the heels of their 2017 Georgia High School Association Class 5A state championship, the McIntosh Lady Chiefs Volleyball team is back to work and ready to begin their 2018 title defense, something the Lady Chiefs are no strangers to. The 2017 championship win was the program's third in school history and first since 2013.

Prep Sports Nation got a chance to catch up with the Lady Chiefs at a recent practice and spoke with head coach Wendy Mabon who discussed some of the areas of focus for the team this year, which includes leadership roles. Last year's championship team graduated six seniors, while this year's team has no seniors. Despite that, the Lady Chiefs are excited to begin the 2018 season and defend their title.
