PSN Spotlight: McEachern's Issac Okoro

When Prep Sports Nation started hitting the high school sports seen, one of the first high school basketball players to catch our eye was a sophomore from McEachern High School. The Indians were playing in a holiday tournament at Pope High School and Okoro had amazing leaping ability and played at the rim throughout the game. Now, heading into his final season of high school basketball, the Class of 2019 forward has become a top 50 prospect for his class and has drawn the attention of the likes of Clemson, Florida State and a host of other ACC and SEC programs.

As summer approaches, the 6-foot-5, 195 pound Okoro is continuing to turn heads as he plays for Athletes of Tomorrow on the Nike EYBL circuit. In his junior season, Okoro help lead the Indians to the Georgia High School Association 7A quarter finals were they lost to eventual runner up, Norcross. The Indians will be returning most of their players from last year's team so Okoro and crew loook to make a deep run in the upcoming season.
